The most lively and perhaps the biggest one –like a town- was Torre Cane –also the farthest away, 15 km. On Sundays, there is also a bazaar at Torre Cane with the most bizarre scenes. There was for instance a donkey inside the bazaar, and then there were salesmen, who made elaborate demonstrations of their products.

The city itself is very romantic… Little concentric streets and little stores every now and then. Accompanied by a few galleries and street vendors. Among the typical products of Ostuni come the ceramic works of art.

Puglia is the southern tip of Italy, adjacent to the Sicilian peninsula and the Adriatic Sea. Ostuni is a mountain top small town, spreading down from the Murgia hills to the coast of the Adriatic Sea, while crossing the plains of olive trees and olive farms, as well as the so called “trulli” towns.
