As the team of Donuz, we have been hearing really good comments about the new Sicilian Restaurant in town. We will be there shortly, once the snow unveils the city. Meantime, if you have already been here, why don’t you tell us about its ravishing pizzas and the fun-fare, friendly service?

Olympos is in a valley at the south coast of Turkey, approximately 90 kms away from Antalya. The city of Olympos was initially founded in the Hellenistic period and was attested its name as a result of the nearby mountain Olympos. According to Homer, from these mountains, Poseidon saw Odysseus sailing away from Calypso’s island, and called up a great storm that wrecked him on the shores of the island of Nausicaa. Legend also has it that these mountains are the birth place of Santa Claus.

If you are nodding your head as we speak, please comment below!

Otherwise, ask yourself, do the following requirements describe you?

“Special requirements: good fitness level, physical and psychological resistance to the cold, preferably prior experience of winter overnight in tents, winter outfit for outdoor activities in low temperatures.”

Russia Discovery is organizing an innovative 8-day tour inside Russia that involves crossing 35 miles of snow in 2 days with a sled and two strong-willed reindeers. The tour starts in Yakutsk normally. Meaning that you meet your guide, go around the city, do a bit of sightseeing or shopping etc. After a night of accommodation in Yakutsk, you leave the city with your guide for Yuchugey, the settlement of reindeer breeders. Your one-night stay in Yuchugey serves the purpose of “accommodating with the local families to see and experience the conditions the locals live in.

It is in Yuchugey that you get trained for sledding with reindeers and the real adventure starts after your training.

A hidden germ in South of France… Lies on the Bay of Biscay on the Atlantic coast. Already a haven for both locals and tourists given its wonderful beaches and allegedly therapeutic sea, Biarritz is not yet the new St. Tropez. Still lacks the numerous Russian yachts and Louis Vuitton and Hermes parade.

Excellent samples of the Basque cuisine, modern hotels and a major surf resort. Have you been there ? What do you think ?
